OSPF MTU Mismatch Issue

This problem is common when running OSPF between a switch (i.e 3550 or 3560) and a router. The error message that is generated when this problem occurs is:

So what??? I can now bring my CCIE lab virtually anywhere. With this notebook with me, my CCIE lab is now "anytime anywhere".

The first step before really making the lab possible: to put the proper Linux that can have a well-defined kernel fine tune to ensure the dynamips
works at its most.

Using Extended ACLs with IGPs

Extended ACLs work with IGP protocols but you can not match on the subnet mask portion of the route.  Extended ACLs are used with IGP protocols to match the network portion of the route and the IP address of the router that sent the route.  Here is an example of its usage:

PPP Virtual template and Frame-relay

To configure a virtual template for MLP LFI on a frame-relay subinterface, you have to remove the DLCI configured under that subinterface first before reapplying it back with the ppp keyword.
